We began gardening on Mothers Day it has  become the tradition since we moved in to the new house As part of Mothers Day, Mel gets to choose flowers for the front Garden and we plant them in the garden. Then we enjoyed a nice relaxing Drink on the Patio.

I decided to put this up as this is one of my better sketches that I have done lately

Bourbon Steak Marinate

1/2 Cup Olive or Canola Oil
1/2 Cup Bourbon
1  to 1 1/2 Cups of your Favorite BBQ sauce
1 tsp Montreal Steak Spice
1/4 tsp Chili Powder
1 pack Steak or Meat Marinate Spice
Mix together

Place Steak in a 9 x 13 Glass Dish or other size and pour 1/2 of marinate over meat. Flip meat and pour remainder of  mixture.
Let it sit for 4 - 6 Hours
As you are BBQing spread the mixture over the Steak as it cooks

Fireman Mattis

On the weekend we went to the Mount Pleasant Fire hall for there pancake breakfast, Mattis had a blast sitting in the Firetruck he was steering away like he was driving turn the wheel like a real pro

If I move this what happens can i get it started

He likes cars and trucks and anything to do with them.  He is turning in to real boy.  It is amazing how they emanate to certain things or movies.  We don't even push it on him he just goes to it or notices them.

We just encourage him and let him discover things on his own he has a very inquisitive mind and picks up things quickly   He was telling me that the Firetruck was missing the key pointing to the keyhole.

Mattis Watching Trains at Brantford Train station

Today I took the little guy to the train station in Brantford to watch them shunt the cars around he was in heaven watching the train move back and forth.

Mattis had a ball watching the trains it reminded me of going to the train station with my dad when I was little.
I know he was there with us today watching the train shunt the cars around the tracks

A boys delight as we were sitting there a freight train went bye

Easter egg hunt 2012
